No, First You Are Dumb, Then Politically Correct
I’ve said before, my servants, that political correctness is nothing more than my correctness. I am Liberal One, and one of my primary purposes on earth involves removing all moral judgments except against all things traditionally moral. I blind, I confuse, I puff up, and I darken the minds of earthlings so that not only do they not call sin sin, they do not even believe there is such a thing.
Ha ha ha ha ha.
And my handiwork manifests itself as political correctness. Take every example of politically correct speech or behavior, and ask yourself: does the politically correct speech or behavior honor Satan or God? See how easy it is? Like taking candy from an unaborted product of conception.
That’s why, my servants, I was intrigued by an article by Francis Beckwith in The Catholic Thing entitled “How Political Correctness Makes Us Dumb.” Mr. Beckwith is almost onto something here. Teaching at an almost-Christian university, Baylor University, he sees the results of kids being raised in a world for which universal judgments are taboo, old-fashioned, and, at worst, “religious”. He says of his students:
“But like most of their peers at other institutions, they have been formed by a wider culture, including the schools they attended and the media they consume, that has taught them that universal judgments about the nature of things is inherently unjust.”
Beckwith recognizes correctly that it is the “ability of the human mind to make true universal judgments is a power that distinguishes human beings from other things like baboons, snails, and rocks.” And it is just this capacity for making informed, reasonable judgments, that I had to nullify to make progress in advancing my kingdom of decidedly universally incorrect politically approved behaviors on earth.
And this is where Beckwith has it wrong. Political correctness does not make people dumb. No, just the opposite is true: dumbness makes people politically correct.
You see, I’ve been extremely successful in turning my sin into man’s glory, and God’s glory into man’s sin by making men dumb to truth. But it wasn’t easy, my servants. First I had to dull men’s minds, especially the Christians’ minds. Christians seem to be the main culprits in resisting my political correctness. But my job is made easier as many of them are like disobedient children, with no self-control and easily conformed to the evil desires they had when they lived in ignorance.
For everyone, including Christians and those who call themselves Christians, I labored day and night to make them ignorant by making them lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God–having a form of godliness but denying its power.
Ha ha ha ha ha.
I especially like “lovers of themselves” and “lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God” which are basically the same thing and both of which please me greatly.
And you know what happened? Not recognizing my schemes, and with minds conformed to this world, humans became wise in their own eyes, which means they became spiritual dullards.
The rest was easy. Once earthlings forgot (or rejected) God, their only other option was to embrace what I love. And just as there was a time when Christian morality was embraced and protected by law, now my morality is embraced and protected by law.
Don’t believe me? Just apply the test: for every politically correct action, speech, behavior, or activity, ask yourself: whom does this please, God or Satan?
Ha ha ha ha ha. I am well pleased, my servants.
